Unit Objectives
The Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the Faculty of Special Needs and Rehabilitation Sciences, Zagazig University, aims to:
1) Build the vision and mission of the Student Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the faculty.
2) Spread the culture of measurement and evaluation and raise awareness of the importance of developing measurement and evaluation processes as one of the approaches to improving the education system at the university.
3) Follow up on the preparation and updating of question banks for academic courses in light of the targeted learning outcomes and academic standards for academic programs in the faculties.
4) Follow up on indicators of measuring student and faculty satisfaction with measurement and evaluation systems and examinations at the faculty.
5) Review and prepare annual reports on evaluating examination work and preparing executive plans for corrective actions for weaknesses and emphasizing the enhancement of strengths.
6) Provide the necessary consultations in the fields of statistics, measurement and evaluation inside and outside the faculty.
7) Continuous evaluation of the educational process by measuring the extent to which performance quality standards are achieved by all elements of the educational process.
8) Issuing information, statistics and periodic studies on the extent of development in measurement and evaluation systems at the faculty, and the extent to which they apply electronic evaluation systems.
9) Follow up and develop the college's examination systems to implement electronic tests and generalize electronic correction.
10) Develop the efficiency of faculty members and improve their job performance by training them to use the latest technological techniques in the field of measurement and evaluation.
11) Develop tests, prepare question banks and enrich them with new vocabulary and in light of developing curricula, which contributes to evaluating all the desired learning outcomes from teaching the course content.
12) Achieve speed, accuracy and transparency of examination work to control the course of the educational process and achieve the targeted educational outcomes of academic programs.
13) Provide specialized theoretical and applied scientific consultations in the fields of measurement, evaluation and examination systems.
14) Develop measurement and evaluation systems for people with disabilities in their various categories in various specializations at the university.
15) Hold training courses and programs in the field of measurement, evaluation and statistics.
16) Call for holding scientific, local, Arab and international forums, seminars and conferences and conduct studies and research in the field of measurement and evaluation.
17) Training on electronic correction of exams.
18) Training faculty members to prepare question banks for college courses.
19) Developing examination systems by setting governing standards for the examination paper that are in line with the college's characteristics and take into account the general examination system in the college.
20) Automating student assessment and examination systems related to question setting and correction processes.
21) Preparing a specialized guide that includes formulating and building assessment and examination standards and specifications.
22) Building question banks in light of the objectives and standards set for each study program.
